Sales Leads

Sales Lead Loyalty or Customer Loyalty - Which Do You Prefer?

We both know that there is no such thing as lead loyalty but that surely does not stop us from spending our hard earned cash on sales leads with a pulse so weak that they are barely alive. We know they are ineffective but that doesn't stop us from pouring one half of our gross national product into the advertising toilet. Now you can stop.

We all agree that sales leads have no loyalty however customers, on the other hand are loyal. When someone becomes your customer and you understand their needs and meet them on a daily basis they become 'your' customer for life. People want to buy from someone that they trust and have a relationship. Price is not the only customer concern. Remember the Gucci slogan "Quality is remembered long after the price has been forgotten", that slogan still holds true today. Customers want to do business with people they trust, where customer service is exceptional and products have a real value for the money spent. Gucci built a multimillion dollar business on those principles and so can you.

Unfortunately most of the selling on the internet has not been about developing a loyal customer base. Internet sales have been geared to what I call the "hit and quit" where unprofessional marketers sensationalize their sites and products looking for that one time sale. These sales focus on instant gratification and not long term relationship building.

The other type of selling that yo will find is based on "distributorships." This type of selling is founded on duplication. They charge you a minimal amount of money, give you a cookie cutter company website so you can recruit other distributors. The problem with this type of business building is little or no customers and no customer loyalty. Surely you do not expect loyalty from someone who is forced to buy product and they aren't making any money.

Either way these businesses run their short course, slip on the business banana peel and slide off into the sunset rather quickly.

What kind of business owner are you? Are you interested in building longevity into your business which could add handsomely to your 'daily bread' and your retirement income or are you the 'hit it and quit it' type who wants immediate gratification before jumping onto the next "greatest deal of the century"

If you are the 'hit it and quit it' type then this article really wasn't meant for you. Smart business creates longevity into the business plan by building a solid foundation of loyal customers. When you use already paying customers as the brick and mortar of your business the results are solid, it's good business.

Noted entrepreneur Tom Pendergast has a history of helping others achieve success. Tom is the CEO of Inetekk and the Founder of Veretekk. The testimonials paint a never ending mural that illustrates Tom's commitment to others. Recently Tom has revealed a business plan that he has been involved with for the past 6 years based on buying customers and not leads. I have reviewed not only Tom's results but the results of others doing the same thing and have come to the conclusion that it is not only smart business but that it is good business as well.
